Happy Birthday to Me!!!
(Monday 24th May) - I'm 21 today - it's weird and I don't feel any different but I have more stuff
Yesterday we had friends over for lunch - Nick roasted 2 legs of lamb and made up some tabuli and hummus and cut up some salad vegies and fetta and olives and we had kababs - with lavash bread - it was soooo good!!!
Then we had cake - from the Cheesecake shop - YUM!!!!! Mocha mud cake 3 layers filled with 2 layers of coffee flavoured cream and topped with 2cm thick chocolate icing OH MY GOSH it was GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!
A couple of friends gave me Scatorgories - so after a few people left we played like 6 games - (there were 7 of us) it was great!!! But try coming up with original answers for Colours starting with W or Vegetables begining with M.
Then when there was only me nick and al left we had leftovers for dinner (mmmm lamb sandwiches)
and we watched Hercules (disney) another of my presents - its in my top 5 favourite disney flicks and neither of the guys had seen it - I was shocked - but they liked it - i may have to watch it again later today.
I also got a lantern with a kiwi fruit flavoured candle from "dusk"
There was nothing on TV last night so we went to bed an watched another episode of Red Dwarf (my mothers day present season 1 dvd) - there's only one episode left!!!
Woke up this morning at 6am YUCK but I watched the sunrise with a capuccino - so that was nice - then the baby got up and I got presents. Nick bought me an address book with a hand painted picture of Venice on it from a little boutique shop he found when he was in Melbourne on a business trip last Wednesday (il papiro)
And Elana gave me a book that I've never read by an author I like (the other side of the story by Marian Keyes) - it's actually on order from the library - I'm like 114 in the que)
And a got a beautiful gold locket also from Nick.
A couple of days ago when I went shopping two of my best friends gave me a set of earrings - so I'm all set
Tonight we're doing the family thing - my mum dad sister her boyfriend and mums brother with nicks dad mum and younger brother and sister. We're going to a great pizza/pasta place called Castelli's - they have the best bread!!!!!
And Thursday we're getting Nicks parents to babysit and Nick's taking me out for dinner and a movie (Goldclass - TROY)
Anyway there's a truckload of washing up to do (we had 12 adults and 3 children over yesterday) so I better get started *sigh*
