Space miner Beam graphic

I hadn't played a whole lot of DA due to performance issues with my old system , but the new beta is running great, so I'm giving it a whirl when I noticed the space miner's little beam graphic that he used to have when improving is gone. I was wondering if it was removed or is it just me? I have graphics set on best and everything else seems in order. Always thought that graphic was a nice touch

Edit: After playing with it some more it is there, but I can only see it when at a certain zoom level so close that you can almost see through the ship. It doesn't show at any other zoom closer or farther, weird .

I actually wasn't sure if this was a product of the beta, since I never got to play 1.6 much it may have been that way in that and I just didn't remember. At first I thought it may have been for performance and it was removed, but after finding it at close zoom I'm still not sure if it was purposely done like this to help the framerate. Either way it's no big thing the rest of DA is running so good now I'm not complaining

But since they are actively making tweaks for 1.7 right now, there's no reason not to mention it. I've sent in a couple of things like that, known minor glitches, to be remembered among the tweaks.
