Memory issues is something that I can't really defend, non-upgradability is good and bad with consoles, obviously this is a bad, very bad issue. As for the 360 DVD being too small, umm use another, how many games spanned 2+ CDs back in the day for consoles and PCs, that is a very lame excuse. Sadly no matter how the PR firms spins 'multi-platform' the PC almost always gets the short end of the stick unless the title was originally developed or started development for the PC THEN went multi-platform.
Yes patches can fix these problems but the dev houses generally get a set amount of money/time to apply to patching up the games. After thats gone then whatever couldn't be addressed remains an issue. Still much easier to patch a PC game than a console game, even now but things are getting better as far as patches are concerened in both respects.
