Trade route's ??

I read somewhere that if you send a trade ship from good $ system to a good $ system you get more $.

Now when I sent a frt. from earth in the corner. it shows the trade line from thier planet to my closest planet to them??

The longer a trade route is in existence, the more it is worth. And the AI can set up routes with your planets as well, so that screen can get crowded near the end of the game.
