Can't select Universalist or Progressive parties.

Hello,
When I start a new game I only have six parties to choose from... not the 8 stated in the manual. I can't see Universalists or Progressive.
Any ideas?

Check the README... evidently some of the parties were removed during testing for balance reasons.

What readme?

I installed Via Stardock, and have no readme.txt or any other documentation!!

Anywhere online i can read these?

I would think you should have a readme regardless of installing via SDC. Check your start menu and installation directory? Regardless, here's the section you were asking about:

## Changes from the user manual ##
The user manual makes mention of additional political parties along with different values.
We found during testing that we needed to change some of these values to provide a more
balanced play. Two political parties were removed for balance reasons.

Nope no readme.txt

I have just found other threads saying the same thing. Guess i will have to wait until the CD i ordered gets here.
