Paradox Interactive has announced another installment to the long running Europa Universalis series with plans for Europa Universalis: Rome. The title has already seen a good amount of development and will hopefully be ready for worldwide release in Q2 2008 for the PC.
The newest title for the series will cover the first Punic War and will give players hundreds of choices to play with including country, culture, provincial and character options.
"Europa Universalis: Rome combines the best of the Empire Building, Conquest and Warfare genres, wrapped into a title that contains all main characteristics of a typical Paradox Interactive game", said Johan Andersson, Director of Development. "This project has the potential to become the most talked about grand strategy game to date."
