Is there ANYWHERE i can go to learn more about combat? I really cannot figure this thing out. Not sure as to why a fleet of ships (BattleCruisers, let's say 6 of them for example) cannot defeat one Battleship. All i see are my BattleCruisers getting totally wiped out (in what appears to be only 1 shot from the Battleship).
This is the one thing that i wish was a bit different. I don't mind the simplifying of combat...But i really cannot figure out why a FLEET of BattleCruisers, with a PreCurser Ranger, cannot take down a single Battleship.
Those multitude of Defenders I have from earlier tech should still do SOMETHING, right? I understand that they are outdated, but 40 of them should be able to at least HURT a higher tech ship, right?
Like I said, this is really my one complaint...This game really is incredible...just the combat seems like "damned if I don't, damned if I do"
