DICE Canada Returns As TUSK Interactive

Seeking Technical Director

Former members of DICE Canada, the development studio famous for Battlefield: Vietnam and Battlefield 2: Special Forces, have come together to form TUSK Interactive. The biggest name to make the move is DICE Canada's former lead designer Armando Marini, which most likely means that the company will stick with online multiplayer shooters for the near future. Currently there is a job posting for TUSK Interactive on Gamasutra looking for a Technical Director and no games have been announced.

You may be experiencing some deja vu as this happened to old members of the DICE squad before. Shortly after the closure of DICE New York, formerly Trauma Studios - creators of the Desert Combat mod, the members reformed to create Kaos Studios. And un-shockingly enough Kaos is also currently working on an online multiplayer FPS with an expected release in February 2008.
