Maybe I'm just stupid

Either I'm having a strange problem or I'm just stupid, but would love some help.  Some of the icon packages I download from wincustomize work great, but other's, (for example, graveparadise) download, but when the preview screen comes up after the install, there is nothing there.  Please, someone with a brain, advise me.

Open iconpackager> choose package on preview screen,
then click apply button on bottom right. I hope this help

I'm sorry, I wasn't clear. I know how to apply the packages, my problem is, after I download some, the name appears on the preview screen, but no icons appear with it. And if I load and apply the package, I get the missing icon placeholders.

Hmm, if I'm right, when you download some of the IP's it's .rar or .zip files? If so there needs to be 2 files. you must have both of them in same directory, then the IP should work fine. Not sure if that's your problem.

Some are .zip files, but that's not the problem, even the ones that do not download as a .zip can give me this problem.

Tannim1,try and do this, Save the Icon file to your harddrive. Open Icon Packager.
Where it says, "Install New Package", select,"Install of disk". Find the file you
downloaded, and double click on it. You should now have your Icon package.

I tried your suggestion Upfin, but I'm still in the same situation. If I hit preview and switch to custom view, I can see the icons, but if I select windows view, nothing.
