finally turned on DesktopCollage and find that

1. not really randomized
2. could not retrieve photo from subdirectory

I immediately sorry that I make the purchase.

This is the first time I disappointed with stardock, never happen before since Object Desktop /2, well.

if you don't mind this 2 point go ahead to purchase it, else no.

the Earthview is pretty kewl thru..

As I understand it the reason for the subdirectory was streamlining all processing as best as possible. Since the biggest concern with animated wall papers is still how much they tax the system every possible thing needs to be cut to address this. You should always enjoy the art but at the same time you shouldn't notice it is running while working/playing etc.

I don't mind the sub directory issue too much, what annoys me is it does not support the "how should this be positioned" options, especially the one I need is "fit to screen with cropping"

i have three screens, 24" in between 2 17" portrait monitors, so while the center is fine the two side screens show the photos as distorted.

See example (link below) of the problem with "desktop collage', other dreams support crop to fit and dont have this problem.
