This game has some mass usage of figters and bombers, and i had to take on 2 players

We need a faster replay speed , like 10x and 16x....

8x doesn't cut it for a 4 hr game....

ah, I thought you continued, but 4 hours is a very long game.

strangely enough, later on I hosted a 3 humans, 3 ai match which was one of the smoothes I had so far.

ps. paradoxnt got me with fighters too. 20 light carriers and a few capships takes a lot to counter and trust me, flaks dont break it.

They already said they won't do that. Faster replay speed would be nice though.

well, if its technically too complicated I'm ok with a fast replay speed. I cant remember, is there a rewind option? if not, that would also be nice if you're in fast mode and go too far.

The flaks couldn't counter the fighters, or they couldn't counter the capships?

The flaks should, at the very least, have managed to clear out enemy fighters (if they were in enough numbers)

The flaks should, at the very least, have managed to clear out enemy fighters (if they were in enough numbers)


they couldnt counter the fighters/ bombers, at least not sufficiently by far. I can upload a replay if you want.

in one of the last battles I had 25 flaks vs his 20 lights. in addition to that he had 3 high level capships, among them a sova and two light frigs. the flaks never really cleared out his strike craft for my heavy hitters to jump in and attack the rest.

for my interest I put up another defense at my second terran planet. had about 7 hangars almost all with fighters plus a light carrier and 8 flaks. that did some damage, but also not enough, plus I had nothing left with which to attack other ships.

so my experience is, be very careful when you are facing that many fighters, and don't even bother using capships as long as most of the bombers and not destroyed. they get shot down before they even come in range.

ah, and - I think this had been reported before - my hangar fighters attacked his capships. did reorder them for fighters and bombers, but still annoying.

That sounds like a possible bug, to me. Flak frigates are supposed to counter fighters, one frigate should be enough for several fighter squadrons!
