GO QUEENSLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tonight is a clash of the titans - state against state game 1 of 3 in the age old battle to decide which is better CANETOADS or cockroaches.
This has been going since 1980 - out of 69 there've been 2 ties and 34 wins to Qld. We've taken the shield 12 times with consequetive wins (all 3 games out of 3) in 1988, 1989 and 1995.
Tonight will be game 70 - and I'm very excited - It's going to be a close one!! With so many Qlders out injured including our skipper (and joey - nsw skipper) and so many NSW out due to misdemenaers
it's going to be a GOOD game - there are so many rookies playing tonight it will interesting to see what happens.
The Blues are favourites because its being played on their home turf - but we may just surprise them.
Meanwhile I have a whole bunch of people coming over for a party to watch the game but I have a suspicious feeling that only 2 of the guests (myself and best friend rin) are the only ones here for the game and not the socialisation.
I mean anyone who wants to listen to the Roy & HG comentary on Triple J instead of fatty, sterlo and ray warren on channel 9 is NOT interested in the game!!!!
Anyway -- it's going to be a GOOD evening whoever wins I think it will be a pretty close call.
