Flagship Studios has dropped some more information on their upcoming pseudo-MMORPG Hellgate: London, fleshing out details on subscription benefits and PvP details. First up is the announcement that subscribers will be able to select two additional difficulty modes, Elite and Hardcore. The first of which will result in nastier, smarter and more group oriented monsters, the latter disabling the resurrection ability, causing you to be left for dead.
As previously reported there is a way around the subscription fees altogether, by purchasing the "Founder's Club" offer for a whopping $149.99. Either way, pay-to-play participants will also receive exclusive content including Halloween themed events and items. Later on in the title's life Flagship hopes to add much deeper exclusive content including new areas, items and raid content.
Aside from added content and difficulty settings gamers who pay off Flagship will also receive the benefits of creating guilds, storage for 24 characters instead of 3, a locker with 100% more storage and special armor that can be unlocked after completing certain 'Achievements.'
Lastly the folks at Flagship Studios dropped their first tidbits on PvP explaining that there are two ways to battle other avatars. Both methods should be fairly commonplace to an experienced MMO player, the first of which is the standard duel, an offer of battle and its acceptance. The last will be a PvP flag which can be turned on. Both methods of PvP are only allowed outside the Underground Station hubs.
