Difference between High and Med. espionage levels

Hmm... no-one has any idea?

I especially wanna the know the answer to the second question. Do you have to keep spying to get updated data?

From my preliminary investigation, after you achieve "High" spy level, you can safely turn off all espionage spending for that race. Of course I'm not 100% sure. I'd prefer if one of those brilliant developers stopped by and confirmed.

There is some extra information in the category stats section (the part that lists 'Best system'and 'Most powerful ship'), IIRC. Other than that, I'm not sure. I'd have to look closer to tell.

Several events change based on your total espionage spendings, you get a bit more of those information pop-ups when you're still actively spending on espionage, and if the targer tace has techs you don't, there's a small chance that is based partly on your espionage spending to steal one of those techs.

That information is already present @ the Medium level.

There is also an 'advanced' level after high... the way I understand if you take money out of espionage after you reach a certain level, the stats will not update again, and you also will lose the ability to 'steal' techs

You can tell their most powerful technology and ships already just by going to the diplomacy screen...

That information is already present @ the Medium level.'

Some information is there. But, if you look closely, you'll note that the similar section in your Domestic stats shows more categories like that. As your espionage level goes up, more of those extra categories get added, until you have as much detail on the AI as you do on your own civilization.

The buttons next to the information (the little blue outlined square buttons): are those just filter buttons? Anyone know?
