Changing the music - Playlist or Music folder?

I could not find this mentioned yet, but is it better to add mp3s to the playlist folder to get them to play or replace the mp3s in the music folder to get it done.

I *really* would like something different.

Figured it out.

Placing my music in the Playlists folder then in game, selecting playlists in the options menu with the default setting.

Any other ways?
