Minidump a general problem

Its seems to me that ALOT of ppl thinks when you get a minidump and the box appears and you click the ok butten it sends automatically, but its actually not. It should open your mail box and say something like


Please attach 'C:\Users\Multianna\AppData\Roaming\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\MiniDump\Sins of a Solar Empire.exe[vb4.2][09.24][17.30].dmp' to this email. You can also help by running Start->Run->dxdiag.exe and attaching the results of clicking "Save All Information" to this email. With your help you will never see this dialog in the final game! Thanks!

This i think has to be adressed somehow as IC is missing alot of minidumps

oh, I too thought there were sent automatically. well, I wouldnt know how it could do that given the fact that I use internet based mailing exclusively.

cool, could have thought of that myself.

btw for any who have troubles finding them. they have a special folder next to the save game folders i.e. C:Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire

this post was actually meant to adresse to everyone (especially the dev's) that it really is a general problem, as after a multiplayer crash some players say like:

player: "erm btw when i click ok to send the minidump it automatically sends right?"
Me: "no, unless you get your mailbox poping up and askes you to send the minidump by mail, they never resive it"
player: "duh, no wonder why bugs never gets fixed"

and ive seen this alot and i think they might be missing some important errors
