Invisible constructors

Playing Beta 2. Immense galaxy, everything set on abundant. Small graphics glitch when playing Terrans. When first ship being built is constructor there is no image upon launching ship (it doen't matter if you build or buy). If you save game or alt-esc to desk top, the image appears upon reloading game. However, the ships icon is larger than any other constructor on screen. If I build a colony ship 1st, the colony ship image appears and and subsequent constuctors I build also appear correctly. I have a screen shot showing this, but I couldn't figure out how to attach it.

I haven't been getting invisible constructors, but nearly all unupgraded mining starbases seem to show up invisible now, and I've been getting invisible Drengin ships (specifically Super Dominators).

My first ship built as the Terrans was a standard colony ship and it also was invisible upon launch in TA Beta 2. As for the Drengin Corvettes, they were routinely invisible in TA Beta 1 but I've not yet had the chance to observe them in Beta 2.

I have the same problem with defenders on DA, But I can't get the screen in here ...

I too have some invisible constructors. Zooming out seems to bring them out of hiding for me though.

Try deleting (or nenaming if you want to save it for back-up) your /My Documents/My Games/GC2TwilightAnor folder and start a new game.  Please let us know if you still get the problem after doing that.

If it does fixed the problem and you saved the folder before deleting it, please zip your folder and send it to [email protected].  That way we can compare the data and figure out what happened.

Just to put my two cents in:

I've had this with freighters and constructers as the Terrans. For instance, I'll be playing a game and then exit, save, and come back to it. Suddenly, my constructers are gone. All ones I had in operation before are still there, but the new ones that I build during the second play session are invisible.

Then, after reloading a third time, the problem is fixed.

My Terrans constructers and freighters are invisible. I reload the game many times and they stay invisible. I have deleted the /My Documents/My Games/GC2TwilightAnor folder and started a new game. The first constructer built was visible but the second one built was invisible.

SWC this is still a problem for me too! All i did to stop it was to edit the ship in the game and then rename it. This seemed to rectify the issue.

I believe it is to do with the blank images that appear to be in the ship when you open the stock ships in the editor. Once they are removed the ship appears OK in the game. Saving and reloading does rectify the situation for a while but eventually the issue resurfaces. As of the last beta with TA this was still an issue!
