I who stand here,

Who am I?

What is my purpose?

To change the world?

Is that possible?

For me,

One person?

But,

What is the world?

Just a perception?

If so, then I can.

I can change it,

By changing you.

If I can touch your life,

And perhaps make you see,

The world a bit differently,

Then I can change something.

I can leave a mark,

I am able to find purpose,

In you.

Love the poetry,   and as to the theory behind it...well I still believe that the only person we can change is ourelf.  However.....our actions,  behavior,  and even words can and do have a profound effect on others

Beautiful sentiment, mate. I really liked this one a lot.

Stan Lee (if I have to explain who he is then I'd be very surprised) once wrote that change can begin with one man. Of course, he was talking about Spiderman, but I do like to think there is a little radioactive spider-juice in us all
