Everyone seems to know everything about the Vasari except me is there a manual or strat guide or something? i'm having troubles playing them as the more planets I conquer the more credits i lose is there a way around this? Any help appreciated. Awesome game by the way more addicting than a bag of chips.

Beta 4 changed the colonization system a bit so that newly colonized planets actually detract from your credit income until you upgrade their population infrastructure

Other than that, nope, there's no Vasari guide, just experimenting. Especially in MP since the AI is boringly predictable

there are no official guide on how to play, but some user have made some post about it. Heres one from Schod Schem's 11.5 commandments of fleet management!

yeah, upgrade your planets. This new way that planets is losing credits to begin with, is to avoid the planet colonizing spam, thats what i think was the idea from the devs. Also it makes sense as the planets need to build up infrastructure and population growth.

Awesome game by the way more addicting than a bag of chips.

its a Schodly overview of all things capship based, and well, the Vasari are largely capship based


I might makeup a Vaz strat guide after I get more time in with them, as of current I've played few games with them, so its only theory (although damn good theory, apparently)
