How to get the most awesome explosions EVER

Ok, I don't I have a picture because I'm stupid and didn't take one.

Kiernyc and I were playing a game online. I was fighting one of the AI at my planet and my culture was acquiring his last planet. He had 3 capital ships (2 carriers and a Missile Cap, the Desolater I believe) in a VERY tight formation.

Then my culture took his last planet...

THE EXPLOSION WAS AWESOME!!!! Yeah, sure, capital ship explosions by themselves get boring, but they waves of debris went out in 3 different directions, so it formed what looked like a simple drawing of an atom:



If you can replicate this, try it out. Kiernyc saw it too.

Oh yeah I'll get it uploaded soon. It was near the end of the game. The AI was green or yellow (I forget). The fight was at my desert planet.

EDIT:

I think this is the right replay. If its not let me know, The explosions happened at 1:32/1:36 (so even at 8 times the normal speed you still have to sit there for awhile). The planet's name was Kimura and the AI was the Sect of Cerebri.

Oh yeah and sorry about my low settings (I have it low for mulitplayer, plays really fast).

Ahhh yay. Just got the bitter end yesterday but now I see....now we just have to do that with like 10 Capital Ships!
