Since I'm just a bystander, I hesitate to ask a question, but would it be possible for someone to list the skins or elements that will be part of the overall suite? I've been trying to keep up with you folks, but it's hard. Along with being good, you folks are also quick.

I get the feeling this is going to a very exceptional suite. Congrats to all of you for working together in what I'm sure will come out as a fantastic community project.

As you can see, I have inserted PO's groovy Zoomers in .. and also , in the skin folder , is the 'proper' Black Dragon Zoomer ... fo those who like a more 'formal' look ..
( Personally I prefer the Rough Wood Zoomer ... )

~ This time, for contrast , I have added the Emerald Flame Clockface in there : users can change this , of course with the DS Skin Edit prog ... It is quite easy to do ...

There is also a Rocket Dock in the skin folder too .... Of the 3 Sidebars, this one is my fave ...

And that, I think , is that for this one ... so , 2 down , Stumpy Sidebar to go !!

I find myself thinking, "now what can we do for these folks". What a great community to be part of.

Everything looks freakin amazing. Is SIDEBAR a Vista only feature or is it one of the ones you can D/L for free (I've seen a few different ones around) I want the SIDEBAR skins.

WebGizmo looked at the Zoomers and explained to me how to fix them.

Damn this is a huge package I made..... estimated upload time: 15 min.

Po.... Desktop Sidebar is easy to set up and run , and is nothing to do with Vista , however for the people who use vista, it works quite well ....

It is also Free - which is very cheap nowadays

There is a forum, of which I am a Mod there , which is excellent in its support for new members ,we have a lot of fun there ...

One of the guys there .. who is the main troubleshooter for those with problems .... actually works in Microsoft ... a few doors down from a certain Mr G !
The person who actually developed the DS program also works there too ... and believe me when I say that the people at the top are well aware of our presence, so I've been told ..

Like anything else in a newly downloaded prog ..its a bit fiddly at first until you get used to it ... and It was 6 months approx before I had plucked up the courage to explore the actual program .... I joined in September 2005 and now I have made about 150 skins since then ...

.. Its' very much a personal thing ... I have used the Vista Sidebar and I was not impressed ... this one is far more customisable .. and it's definitely , for me, got the edge ...

Is that enought to convince you ?

( Just waiting for The big Guns here to put up a Desktop Sidebar Gallery ... Then the fun can begin ..! ! )

As for the Rainy: 'tis looking good and I could live with it on mt desktop... except for one thing... the image of Bichur peeping at me watching him looking at me. Uggghhh!!!

Orright, if you have to use the image of Bichur, could you at least have him facing the other way so he's less distracting... and I'm not so self-conscious when nude computing.



Oh, OK! So what you're saying here, with the chemically induced blood loss to the brain, is that we're destined to an age of Zubaz' goofs, gaffs, blunders and typos cos he has no third hand... while the other two have a firm grasp on the pulse of WC.

Looks good. One suggestion...Did you get the toolbar icon pack or the tollbar images from me? The 'arrows' could be replaced by the arrow shields. I have them for all three styles. Let me know. Or not.

I don't like the font color for year and month (I want a dark brown), but every hue I've tried seems to paint a blue color instead when applied
