I like the inside (A LOT) but I'd suggest a surround of shelaileighs instead of vines.

I'm not getting an overall enthusiastic response. It's cool. The vines don't seem to be popular. I like the Pub Sign idea and am working on it.

Personally I liked your first shot.

That's not say that the second isn't also as good.

I think it matters what the wall will be, a forest setting where people are looking to do some thumping or a narrow old town winding street where the trool thumpers meet in a pub after a day of thumping?

I think yes, but maybe.... the animation part needs to be within the top part of the panel?... which means the bottom of the lantern would define how tall that part is... maybe

If it's thumping, then flaming torches on each side with maybe thumpers as top/bottom cross pieces
