Random Event Qs?

Every random event I've ever had says "Sol" and then the year under the picture. Is this where they are all taking place? Some events give you planetary bonuses but I can't figure out which planets they happen on. Will there be an update that links random events to planets in a way that you will know which planet it's happening on before you make your decision?

Only events specificaly related to colonizing a planet say a different name than Sol. But these other events that give planetary bonuses all say Sol and then the year.
