How is a dreadnaught 37 attack?

I conquered a NPC's home world 1 turn before it build a 37 attack dreadnaught. How is it possible for a 12 attack to get mod'd to 37 (dreadnaught is a fairly new tech to this small galaxy)

P.S. More more more buttons like sector influence, we need them EVERYWHERE.

The attack rating is higher when it's in orbit. Planetary Defense might boost it further, I'm not sure.
Other than that ... racial bonuses, resources, techs ... if your stats screen doesn't show +208% attack, it's prolly the in-orbit bonus.

It was the orbit bonus, thanks I did not see the stats's screen before, that is awsome.

What is the normal In-orbit bonus, and how/why would in-orbit bonus go up?

You can build various sorts of very nice orbital defense upgrades on a planet. They are pretty spiff.

There is a sector influence button in the top right hand corner of the map, in the box with the sector ID.
