How do you buy/sell and trade tech. Everytime I go to that screen I end up giving my tech as a gift rather that offering up a trade or demanding that someone else give me something as tribute. How do you configure the screen for buy/sell/trade???

Click on the right side (the other guy's) stuff and it will place it below on the bargaining table. When the text of your deal is green that means they will accept it.
