Cultural victory - what is an "mts" ?

I was winning a game through cultural domination and checking the progress on occasion to see my percentage towards the cultural victory go from 93% to 94% to saying "5 mts"

I ended up winning a military victory instead but never figured out the meaning/significance of "5 mts"

anyone?
