It appears that the rumors to a new 2K Games studio based in Northern California are true if job postings on Gamasutra are anything to go by. The posting calls for a qualified Lead Animator and Character Concept Artist although no upcoming project is mentioned. Using the glorious Google cache feature we see that the team is reportedly being called 2K Marin and that at least some of the members are from Irrational Games turned 2K Boston, makers of BioShock.
