Curious about what the T.A. expansion will do for D.A.

Hey guys,

I bought D.A. and never did upgrade (still on 1.5) - figured I'd wait for T.A. to come out. I can't imagine going back to D.A. after I get T.A., but I'm curious about something:

When I install T.A. - is it going to automatically upgrade my D.A. from 1.5 to the newest?
Or is the T.A. EXP simply going to make it's own folder/etc just like D.A. did to the vanilla GalCiv?

TA has it's own folder under DL like DA does. If you use SDC, you'll still need to update DL/DA individually as appropriate. If you ordered a CD, it's a safe bet that it'll have the latest updates with it if they're required for TA to work properly.

It will set up and run from its own folder like DA, without touching anything else.

IIRC, at some point after TA's release, there will be a (final?) 2.0 version for GalCiv2 and the prior expansions that will bring them up to date, aside from the unique features of each expansion. Hope I got that right.
