Bug Hotkeys Floating Bars and Dualmonitor

After a long pause of 1.5 years i thought Objectbar is now usable in the way i want to use it.

System: Vista Ultimate 64bit
Graphic: Nvidia 8600GTS with Nvidia Driver
Dual Monitor: 1920 and 1600 pixel
Objectbar 2.10a.014 (2.1 build 756)

Using the Legacy Theme Editor i want to create a menu bar which is hidden. By pressing a Hotkey, the bar should popup under the mouse.

So under Hotkey for the bar i selected: Respond to the following keyboard shortcut Strg + F1, Hide bar unless this shortcut has been pressed and When re-showing, move the bar to underneath the mouse.

The hide bar unless this keyboard..... option is not recognized at all and it is not saved or whatever... it seems, that ob is not knowing this function.

A workaround could be to use the Function Dock to Nearest with Autohide on.... but it is not working on the second monitor (always jumping back to the first monitor) However docking only to the right Monitor is possible.......

Well so i thought it may be has to do with the version of objectbar and i wanted to download an older Version (not prerelease). so i started Stardock Central, deselected the "Show pre-release versions" and hoped to see older versions... nothing. Again, it seems that this option is not known, only the newest releases are showing up.

Any help?

Objectbar is not on Stardock's Vista Compatability list so I'd guess the issues you related have more to do with Vista than with Objectbar. WWW Link

For the problem "Using the Legacy Theme Editor i want to create a menu bar which is hidden. By pressing a Hotkey, the bar should popup under the mouse." i have found a solution.... but it was not to easy ;-)

I have used the standard Them Editor you can find these options under Properties for the bar which should pop-up... however the properties screen should be updated so that it is more logical....

Under Properties you find 3 options (Dock to Edge, Autohide and Always On Top... all options i don't want to have... remember (hidden, popup under mouth by pressing a hotkey (mousekey).

First you have to click on Autohide. Then the menu is extendet with the Bring-to-Front Shortcut Key. Click on change Key and yeaaaahh here you can chose the additional options (Hide bar until keyboard.... and underneath mouse.

After assigning these options you have to deselect the option autohide, because this function i don't want to have. Save all things and it is working.

However, i suggest that directly under Properties the assignment for Shortcut Key could be done including hide bar until.... and ....... underneath the mouse, because they are independant from the option autohide.

The legacy theme editor should also updated so that changes are saved.

Regarding dual-monitor as i remember that this also did not work 1,5 years ago.

So when will this be supported?
