Just days after Auran's announcement that their PvPMMO Fury would be free-to-play comes the promised bad news. Auran has announced that they have gone into a state of dormancy, shuttering its doors and laying off all employees besides the administration, but Fury remains online and operational.

Gamespot AU reports via an insider that the administration has taken over all of Auran Development and will be meeting with creditors in a months time to decide if the company will be liquidated or restructured. The insider confirms that all 70 staff members will be paid for their work to date, including all leave entitlements. The tipster also believes that a small number of employees will be returning to Auran to form a core Fury support team.

Fury was released in mid-October and is scheduled for a large content patch on Friday.
