Transparent Research/Empire screen.

maybe a christmas wish list before game release.

i know that it's like 30/30/30percent of the time that we will not always be vewing our fleets and planets and enemys but also our research and tech tree screens.

my request if you guys don't mind me asking for, is to have a transparent research and tech screen. having to manage such a large scale universe multiple systems, would be nice to always know what is going on around your system. I'd hate to have a huge wall of research pane blocking the view of what is happening atm. it's always important to keep an eye of your soroundings and this way you'll know when your ally is getting double before he is doubled without having to exit off the research screen to view the game.

if anyone agree with me, maybe we can spam the devs until they say uncle and submit to our biddings :d

the F1 or f2 buttons are close enough to a transparent screen, I see no reason for them to make this fix.

I like it... the only thing to worry about is the background being so busy that it is difficult to see what's on the menu in front of it.

I dunno this idea could have its drawbacks...

As many of you know I'll all for more information and I surely have the desktop real estate for it however as was pointed out the function keys are sufficient. If any thing there should be some icons showing what is being researched or even a small text window with an icon, which is my personal favorite. But fading the current windows the modmen of sin should be able to do that easily enough.

we still can't get the game changed cause FYI it comes out in 47 days 5 hours and 30 minutes, if the game ain't done by now don't expect it to come out in 47 days 5 hours and 30 minutes.

I assumed they are using a different planet's solar cycle to base the clock off of. :SURPRISED:

It is possible or the clock could simply be counting until it goes "gold". ;p

Maybe their just putting a countdown timer up there to screw with us because they figured eventually somebody would realize it wasn't accurate to the release date, then they figured that somebody would get thread off topic, and in response to the thread topic, the battles are so methodical and slow you generally have about 30 seconds or so to figure out what the hell is going on, so i don't see a point

P.S. I know this is one long sentence, but thats how my mind runs.
