Puking on love

the price of gas
Vienna sausages
Gucci shoes
or carnival cruise
party packs
seem to find me
unconcerned

the latest war
blockbuster
movie
presidential
need to be
or terrorist’s
demand
can be just so
much noise

I am not
slick
and slick things
snake skins
vinyl
rubber clothes
presidential speeches
and suits with
sunglasses
make me feel
sticky
like melted snickers
bars still in the
wrapper
but squeezing from
the seams
like I shit my
pants

so you won’t find
me having tea
with some
princess
or stunned to silence
by celebrity glitter
I might watch dead
fish float in
the bay
or piss in the
neighbors flowers
I have been known
to walk naked
in the street
at five in the
morning
(but who hasn’t done that)
and I might read
hegel in a black
tar haze
but
personally
I’d like to be remembered
for only puking on the
ones I
loved
