Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! Bug

I, after hundreds and hundreds of turns, reached the end of the tech tree and was about to "transcend humanity". I had reached the Final Frontier and was waiting how ever many turns you have to wait for your citizens to be transformed when I got the very last remaining tech. So, the window opened for me to pick something new to research all I could do was click "next" however this did nothing. AHHHHHHHH!!!!! I was hoping I was going to be able to rip the Alterians faces apart with a click of a button, being a god and all.
