I Knit A Really Ugly Hat LOL

Ok, this is one really ugly hat. I wanted to learn how to work with more than one color and make more interesting designs, which entails learning the stranding technique in knitting. This hat is my practice project to learn the technique and practice it a bit. I didn't follow any sort of pattern, I just made it up as I went along, thus the ugly hat LOL.

I did learn a lot doing it though.

I wouldn't say it's ugly... it's just different.  Heck, in Politically Correct land it might even be called 'special' or 'differently abled'

It's not ugly, it's handmade with love.  Whenever I make something that I don't love, I tell everyone that it didn't come off of an assembly line in China.  I just add some imperfections to give it character and that handmade look.  lol.

I don't think it looks bad. I know people who would wear it. Not my fave color combo, but that teal with like day glo orange would the most wicked awesome differently-abled knit hat EVER.

The colors are just because that's some of the scrap yarn I had laying around doing nothing.

I'm wearing it, but then I have no sense of fashion anyway. :LOL:
