Icons

Used seperately..?

I have a, possibly stupid, question. I'm new to all this, so please bare with me.

I've downloaded IP and several themes. Now I'm wondering if the icons in these themes can be used seperately from IP as well, in say a dock. And if so, how? Because I've tried opening the icons in another viewer, but that doesn't work. Can anyone tell me?

No such thing as a stupid question.

As far as I know, Icon Packages can only be used with IconPackager. If you look at the file extension for these packages, you'll see that they are .ip files. That extension is for IconPackager....
If you want icons for ObjectDock, just click on the OD gallery link. To narrow it down to just icons, click the down arrow just left of "all categories" and choose "dock icons". (This is found below the WC logo on the top-left side of the screen)

If you have Icon developer installed you can use it to open the .ICL and export the ones you want to a folder .. then apply them as Dock icons .. ;)

Also check: my computer\Shared Documents\Stardock\Iconpackager\ I find most my sets are in there as individual icons already :)
