I'm Misunderstood And Nobody Understands That

I recently realized how many people only like me because I'm "funny". I was a little upset that even my best friends would feel that way. But then I realized it was my fault. It's my fault I've not proved my loyalty, seriousness, and all of those other traits that I have.

All anyone else ever did, was see what I do and think that's the only thing I like to do. That thing I usually do is just goof off. I really don't do much but that around my friends and so that's what they think I am made of.

I don't exactly know how I can change anyone's perspective of me, but if it works, I think this might be a good start. I have a few good friends here on joeuser. apdelong, zoologist03, carebear, deathbybeebles, and (i'm not sure what her joeuser name is) Sam. I know, I do have some friends like madpoet and bigdreamer, but those are the one's that I truly know. Crazyllama96 is another friend here, but I don't truly KNOW her like those others. She is just a friend I talk to.

I hope to eventually show to my friends that I really am a loyal friend and an honest one. I just pray that this was one step towards showing them that I'm more than just the "funny guy".

I don't have time to say much more because the bell just rang, but hopefully you got the point in this short statement.

Well Capt. you got a point. I guess everyone on here that doesn't truly know you in person dosen't know you.. I know that your are more than just a goof off. But maybe I'm going to say all of this because your one of my close friends. But I don't just like you because you're funny. And I don't think that zoo, or apdelong, or anyone of your close friends do. I dunno, maybe they do, but I don't. I guess I like you because you're a nice, sweet guy. You're always willing to help me when i need help.(which is a lot!) Your advice always seems to help me figure things out. i don't know what in the world I would do with out you! I'd probably be lost and not know what to do with myself. hehe, but that's just me. I mean sure you like to goof off a lot. but hey don't we all? I know I do. Guess that explains why I get along with you so well, and I'm the female version of you. lol. If you didn't have a hurmorus side then you'd be well........BORING! I feel that the title of your blog wouldn't be true to myself. That's just my opinion though. I feel that I do understand you in a way that maybe nobody else does. Well, I'd better go now, I got 10min left of the first exam class(ag science)

from reading what you write, I can tell you are a loyal person... your friends will realise this soon enough - i mean, you wouldn't waste all your funny guy material on a bunch of dudes you didn't care about... right?

People only see the side of you that you choose to show them. We all have many attributes that we may or may not show to everyone. Let people see the 'real' you and they'll get to know and appreciate you more.

You are more than just a funny guy. I think of you as my big brother. If I have a problem (specifically with boys) you are the first person I come to. Because I know you’re honest and I know you’re loyal.

You are also one of the most interesting people I have ever talked too. You are one of a kind Brandon, and don’t change anything about you. You are a perfect person just the way you are.

Capt~I agree with that quote big time. I mean, your humor is a really cool thing dude. But I also remember those poems you posted on here. They were a lot more serious than your other articles. And I think they helped to show another side of you that most folks never get to see. So maybe that's one way to go about it: Post another really cool poem or two. People tend to look at poetry different than other kinds of writings. So it really could help to show your other qualities you have, etc. SO GO FOR IT DUDE! AND I'LL BE SURE AND READ ANY NEW POEMS THAT YOU POST ON HERE...

We all like you the way you are and we don't like you just because you're funny. Well maybe some people on here that don't really know you like in person just like you for that reason, but I have a feeling that sam, madpoet, muggaz, and masonm and myself don't like you for just that reason.

Maybe you can't wirte an aritcle because you just need a break from it all, huh? Maybe you need to go on an adventure with Paul or something, to get your mind going. The Wyandot Lake trip is on Thursday, well actually tomorrow since its now midnight. Maybe something will happen there that you can write about. *cracks knuckles*...whoops...walked in on this a little late....sorry....lol....it is true that you are incorperated as the "funny guy"(not gay mind you)...along with the others of us...remember we all have our own humor....you have your silly, good hearted, Christianey noble humor and I have my sick, demented, and often questionable humor that may on occasion make Baby Jesus cry (sorry Andy...had to borrow it)....but I know your true nature....I can read people like the back of my hand....I know if I ever had to kill fifty zombie ninjas you'd be there locked in a car and trying to run them over.....lol....but trust me...I always look into people's character and you're just fine:)....It's true that some people may view you as "just" the funny, strange, wacky, little Bat-freak we've all come to tolerate but screw them....(not literally and no implied sexual innuendos).....you'll prove yourself in time to any doubters and if they don't respect you then elbow drop them....haha!...anyway I hope I've provided you with some insight...so see ya later...probably at band practice or if you get kicked out of your house again....

A truly valid point. It is appearant that there is so very much more to you then you just being "funny", but I hope you understand that a humorous personality is one hell of a great quality! "Funny" men & women have magnetic personalities that will always draw many to them, you included. A great ice breaker as well.
