Finished The Camouflage Cap

I am finally back in WI and it's freezing up here. I've checked into the hotel and had a nice hot shower to get warmed up and de-hogged, and will be walking over to Appleby's once I am certain my hair and beard are totally dry. As cold as it is out there any dampness would freeze immediately.

I did manage to finish up the camo watch cap last night. It's nothing fancy, just a basic cap made with camo yarn.



It fits perfectly and is quite warm.

I'll be taking it easy here tonight and tomorrow morning I'll be heading out with a military truck going to NM. I haven't been down to NM in a while so that'll make for a nice change of scenery. The nice thing is I already know what I'll be reloading and hauling back. I will be delivering this truck and picking up another at the same location and hauling that one back up here. Nice, no screwing around with some oddball back haul.

Somewhere along the way down or back I'll have to stop at one of the medical clinics located in various truckstops along the way. We have to get a D.O.T. physical every two years to maintain our medical card that allows us to operate a commercial vehicle and mine expires midnight Wednesday. Wouldn't do to have that run out.

Basically same old shit, different day.

yes it's dang cold up here!   minus 14 this a.m.  with windchill at 31 below!  Not for the feint of heart or those  that love warmth!

Thanks. It's just too bloody cold here, not even fit for penguins in my opinion. The walk back from Applebee's in this sub-zero weather was just plain miserable.

Well, it is not going to blend in up in Wisconsin (from what I hear), but would do nicely here (since everything is still brown down this way).
