Espionage Question

Is there a way to manage who I'm spying on?

Hi everyone!

I was wondering, is there a way to choose which race you want to spy on the most? For instance, once I start paying for espionage, I'll occasionaly get messages saying I've reached a new espionage level against a race, however it's often not a race I particularly need information on. Is there a way to pick which race I want my agents to focus on?

I'm a bit confused.

In DL you had espionage sliders for each individual race.
In DA you place spies on the planets of the race you wish to raise your level with (along with shutting down improvements).

Can you give us an example of the thing you are seeing?

Ah ok! So the more agents I send to a particular race, the higher my espionage level on them will be. Does it matter how much I'm paying for espionage, or is that purely to get agents faster?

Or at least tell us which version of the game you're playing. It sound like DL, though.

The more you pay, the faster you get agents. Spending has no effect on espionage level

I'm assuming we're talking DA since this is a DA forum.

Spies will continue to cost more and more as you get more, it's based on how many you've created, not how many you currently have. That said, a spy is a spy. The super cheap one you first got is just as good as the 100th one off the line that costs 1000s of bc.

The level is based off of agent weeks. If you have 1 agent on a race's planet it creates 1 agent week worth of intel. If you have a total of 5 agents placed on that race's planets (overall, not just 1 planet) then that is 5 agent weeks of intel. How many agent weeks are needed for each level of intel...no clue, I never actually paid any attention.

Yeah, I'm playing DA. Sorry about that!

I've had this awesome game for a while now, but I never quite figured out how that worked! LOL!
