Is there going to be a way to get the patches seperately?

Just because I'm paranoid that one day all the game companies (or the Internet) will vanish I like to make a backup copy of all patches to CD so I can reinstall them later. With the 1.0.1a patch I could update from Stardock Central but it deleted the files before I could back them up for future reference. Any plans to make patches seperate downloads so I can archive them?
