Refund Help for Beta's Sake!

I pre-ordered the game, thinking I was going to be able to get into beta. Foolish me, however, as I had to use tokens through totalgaming! Now I have e-mails stardock to remove my order (I haven't received any product whatsoever yet), and I am very eager to get the beta (even if only for 7 days). Based on this, do you think they will refund me and I don't have to worry about going ahead with buying from TotalGaming? I don't want to end up with 2 copies of the game.

Hmm tough pickle. Normally I would say they wouldn't do it. However, as you say, you wish to change the way in which you purchased it.... Hmmm. You should go intot he chat and ask someone there. The IRC chat via StardockCentral.

Your best bet is to buy the game again with tokens, then email to cancel your first order. I believe several people have done this already. Keep in mind that Beta 4 is pretty dated now and it doesn't represent the final game at all.

Considering that the post-beta preorders have yet to even be charged, there's nothing to refund (your bank may place a temporary hold, but that'll drop within a day generally). Just a matter of cancelling, which sales will be willing to do since you're just looking to change your preorder method.

It's no problem to cancel your pre-order regardless so long as it hasn't been charged yet.
