Stardock Easter Holiday

Stardock will be closed for Easter weekend starting on Friday, April 3rd and we will be returning on Tuesday, April 7th. We will be monitoring support tickets and forums during this time, but expect delays in responses during this time.

Who can you go to war and have diplomacy with?

I know you as the player can choose from 3 playable factions. Does that mean you can only go to war an dhave diplomacy with the other 2 factions? Or are there a bunch of non-playable factions you can do this with as well?

you can have up to ten players, all of any race you want, so the diplomacy will be far more complicated than a mere 3 player game

Diplomacy is seperated into a number of different areas.  You could be trading with an enemy!   Or putting bounty on a good friend behind his back.  Oh the backstabbing ..!  Or how about sharing vision with someone...then quickly pulling it away.

Thanks for the responses, but I guess I should clarify a bit more. I'm more of a single player person, so based on my original question, how would it apply? Can I only go to war and have diplomacy with the other 2 factions or are there others?

Oh yeah, totally.  You can have diplomacy with up to 9 other factions in a single player game.  So..you could be at war with 5 players, and have peace treaties  and ceasefires with the rest of them.  But in secret you may be placing bounty on everyone's head!

Well, you should be ok if you treat them kindly. They do have missions for you and they don't respond well to rejection
