Your empire name cannot begin with "s" ;)

Try this:
Start a new game, clear the name of your empire, start a new empire with the letter "s".
You get the following... (repeatable)

Also, If I press the shift key and "Z" I get 2 "Z" (not true for other letters, and if I try other signs like ";:_-°ùè+ì" I get strange symbols like 1/3 3/4 and so on...

I've also tried to change any other input field and if starts with "s" or "S" crashes all the times..

It does the same with shift lock on. With no shift I get "Zz". Numerals are also doubled. All of the other
letters work fine in all three modes (unshifted, shift key, and shift lock).

I think parts of this problem was reported before but I recall someone asking if the problem was related to
a Swedish keyboard. But it has to be more of a common problem if my USA and Gherardo's Italian keyboard also
have troubles with it.

Cheers,
Jack

and my UK keyboard. If you really want an empire or leader name with an s then just open the pref.ini file and type in the name there. This works fine an it does display the correct name.

Paul.

Does it crash immediately when you press 'S'? It didn't with my build.

The Mirrored Z bug was reported before, and I fixed it at the time, but you guys have apparently not gotten an update since before then. I'll e-mail Brad and ask if he'd like us to release an alpha build while he's away or wait until he gets back.

Mine crashed immediately on my pushing the "s" and the information was similar:
