Space Stations

-The space stations are too weak. It takes little effort by a ship to destroy one even when it has had all the modules added. A space station would have enough fire power and protection to take on several fleets and survive espceially a military space station. I find it is better to use resources for a fleet of defender ships than build up the station just to see it so easily destroyed.

I have to disagree. A fully functional space station can remove most ship types up to the mid classed medium hull sized fleets alone (3-5 Normal). Also, the stations are not meant to act alone as-per rather more of a support unit to aid in the capture of enemy territory up to and/or resource bonuses. I've been able to hold off swarms with two military bases and a handful of ships protecting a class 26 planet. Everything is not offensive you just need to strategically place your bases in areas that would provide the best support. ~Also~ why are you building up said bases only to leave them alone? It defies any possible need for a station there in the first place if it sitting in some place alone. I'm not sure how many CP/PC's you go against of the difficulty but the stations are not weak by any means if used properly.

At the time of my posting, the other thread was 10-15 threads below this one on the first page and the thread was titled "Please Strengthen Starbases"

Currently, the post is on the second page, and still titled "Please Strengthen Starbases"

At the time, since the posts were so close together, I was giving people credit for being able to read. Was that a mistake?
