Control Groups and Fleets

a) This is a small catch that I have noticed (possibly a bug,) control groups have little to no ship organization in the side submenu with ships newly added to a control group. I was wondering if ships will be organized by ship type in the side menu I.E. capitol ships with capitol ships flaks with flaks etc, with ships added after initial grouping.
b) I am assuming that fleets are separate entities from control groups (correct me if i am wrong) will fleets be viewable from the side menu in the same fashion that control groups are?

a.) Ships are organized by type in the Empire Tree (aka side menu).

b.) Fleets are seperate entities. They will be viewable from the Empire Tree but control groups are not.

Ship icons are sorted by type in the empire tree. There's also an option to stack like icons, so instead of a bajillion flak frigate icons, you can have one icon per 10 or so (don't recall the exact max stack count offhand) with a number indicating how many are in the stack.

Fleets do show on the empire tree, yes.

Thank you for promptness. I should rephrase, whenever I have a rally point set to a ship in a control group the newly built ship automatically becomes a part of the control group; however it starts off at the bottom of the list in the empire tree, as apposed to being next to it's type. It seems as if it won't be a problem if control groups are no longer viewable from the empire tree.
