Asks for CD Key to play Online?

Okay, so I'm trying to play online, and the game asks for my cd key. I provide my serial number provided my Stardock and the game says it is invalid.

WTF!?

Yea, a couple of these popped up on forum so this will prob be first issue addressed, ah the running of a corporation. Thanks but no thanks.
