Governors?

I gave Mr. Ford a priority list and suddenly the entire Alliance is following it. Is there a way to NOT have a Governor run a planet? Where in the manual does it give this info?

I think the way to do this is to go to the individual planet, click the details tab at the lower left, and then set to a different governor.

I'm not sure if it's possible to have the planets follow NO governor, but they seem to follow Mr. Ford by default, so if you are trying to use a governor for just a couple of planets just use a governor other than Mr. Ford.

I find it quite usefull. That Mr Ford is default. After a while I don't micromanage that much and then I just give mister Ford a nice list... and the planets I do micromanage I give a diffent Govourner (with an empty list). This way it's also easy for me to c which planets I micromanage and which I don't.
