Regarding getting updates

I purchased my game through my local eb games, and i have no dedicated internet connection at home, hence i don't have SDC installed on my computer. So is there any other ways i can get the various updates and patches. Thanks

You pretty much need the internet to patch the game.

Since patches moved exclusively to SDC you will need an internet connection.

The first update is available as a standalone patch. There (I believe) will continue to be standalone patches available until SDC's successor is ready, so there is no need for retail buyers to install SDC.

Just click the update button in-game and it should send you to the appropriate page.

Sorry i should be more clear. What i mean in my first post is that i don't have dedicated internet connection at home and i don't have a laptop myself. So i have no way to install my game on a portable computer and use outside internet connection. And i can't update the game via in-game at home either due to a lack of internet connection.
