The explosions rock!

Finally a space RTS game where the debris don't vanish after a few seconds. I just saw my first frigate go poof and was amazed at how long the debris lingered.

It's these little details that impress me the most about a high quality game.

Now if only the ships weren't frozen in place when idle. A little newtonian physics movement would have went a long way with this game.

But that's just a small quibble I have with the game. Man, I can't wait to see the star wars mod now. This game rocks like nobody's business.

Did anyone notice that the custom map settings can go through the roof!!

I went crazy and added a lot of stars and saw the recommend player count rocket up to like 60 plus players before I stopped and passed out.

Holy cow this is one hell of an engine. Looks like the SUPCOM devs have some real competition on their hands.

Nice job Ironclad!! We have an epic classic on our hands fellow gamers.

The engine was pretty much specifically designed with few hard limits to what it can do :) You can make maps as big as you like, will be able to mod a fleet cap as high as you like, as long as your system can handle it, so will the engine.
