Are Pirates to Tough

I get tired of consntant pirates raids so I went to go get rid of them but no luck, there home system was huge, wiped out my 2 capital ship fleet. It had hundres of ships they were bigger then my actual enemy the TEC.

Also whats the point of the bountry system it seems that my enemy always seems to out bounty me in the last second.

Heh. Bounty allows you to buy your time. He may outbouty you now, but your bounty will go down, while the bounty he placed on you will stay till next pirate raid! (Unless you attack him, but in that case you get the money anyway).

I just had a nice 2v2 where i was outbountied so many times until my final assault where I attacked the guys front planet, he sent all ships there, I hit his back planet with 5 siege killing it, while fighting him at front planet, and the pirates went after his homeworld and destroyed it hehehe.

Good points Astax.

The bounty process is like sniping an auction. Don't just put money and leave. When the skull is flashing, make sure you wait around until the raid is actually launched so you can put more bounty on him if he tries to snipe you at the last second.
