After the success on the Troll Thumping Day Suite some members of the Mother Thumpers are coming together to create the "Happy Birthday Suit(e)".

I envision this suite centered around a DX gadget that counts down to your birthday. On your birthday the gadget will prompt you to download the most recent incarnation of the suite components so for your special day, your desktop will celebrate with you.

At this point we have some components assigned to artists but this is a collaborative project and welcome input and assistance from everyone. Please jump in and help out if you'd like.

Okay.

Here is Zubaz's cake. This is it. I mean..THIS IS IT.

The animation has some tiny bugs, but that's because what you are seeing had to be 'reduced' to get it through imageshack. Winky and the candle will be what is animated in the final blind, the cake is the start window. I will add the cake to the blind, so you can see it it..offer it up for testing (taskbar, start window) and finally move onto to the rest of the blind. Sorry for the delay. I hope this little preview makes it worth the wait. (I had to go and purchase more memory. The animation was killing my little PC. Who do I send the expense report to?)

No. When I get the taskbar done, I'll send it to him. I just need to know what he needs to apply the animation. A gif file, all the layers, or what?

I need the candle and winky in .png in individual frames.

*the canvas size for each frame should be the same width as the User pane in the start menu

*the canvas height should probably be 200-300 pixels

Great start menu, btw. Looks awesome!

Just a small preview of what I made for fun. I think it can work fine for bootscrn, logon and wall. I know that There is a scope of making it better and I will retouch it again. Any suggestions?
